Regular organ lessons for beginners as well as for advanced players

In case you have studied an organ piece and would like to practice it in detail.
Improvisation lessons
Improvising in all facets: from short intonations to longer partitions, in many styles. The possibilities of the individual pupil will be leading.
Ecclesiastical (or churh) organ play
In this item the Service of Honour will be explicitly obvious. Here, accompanying the community with singing and practicing the items as mentioned under 3, are most important. These items form an excellent support for the organist in the Sunday practice, but are also used as a preparation for an exam or a comparative exam.
Courses
Courses also belong to the possibilities. During the courses attention will be paid to:
- The history of the church song (short explanation).
- The practical aspects of accompanying (in consultation). The most elementary principles of the theory of harmony (can be combined with the subject "Contrapunt").
- The tuning of tongue works (?), and mending small technical disturbances as these can occur with organs of a mechanical action.
For all these items the choir part of the Bovenkerk (with the special Reil organ) is an excellent location.
Master classes
Master classes can be organised about Improvisation and Interpretation. Music from various style periods will be handled in these master classes.
