- Ab Weegenaar plays the Hinsz-organ
Since 1995 Ab Weegenaar is principal organist of the Bovenkerk. He performs on the famous Hinsz organ of 1743 and the Reil organ of 1999, now well known in Europe for its sound.

As a concert organist, church organist and teacher he promotes the art of improvising, besides good organ literature.
Every year he will give a number of organ concerts. He also makes recordings for radio and CD.
As an organist Ab Weegenaar is active as a host of the Bovenkerk, as a teacher, a player of continuo and as an organ advisor under the name Ab-strakt.
